What makes Bailey Broderick Photography different?
Bailey Broderick Photography is a custom photographer in Decatur IL. Sessions can be held in my home studio or on location in your backyard, the lake, the park, or a favorite local landmark. I tailor your session to suit you and your family, so your portraits won’t look like everyone else’s — they’ll capture your style and personality. Sessions are totally relaxed, so we can do a bunch of different poses. And your family will actually have FUN at the shoot!
What you’ll get
I like to block out 1-2 hours for your session. It probably won’t take that long, but it’s nice to have some breathing room. About 7-10 days after your session, 20-25 fully edited images will be available for viewing and ordering online in a password-protected gallery. Share the link with your family and friends! The photos will stay online for one month.
What you WON’T get
Crowded waiting rooms. Other kids’ germs. The words “we’re running behind schedule today.” Cheesy backdrops. Stiff poses. Fake smiles. Snap decisions. Cookie-cutter pictures.
What to wear
I love bright colors, comfy jeans, lots of layers, fun hats, quirky accessories — anything your kids feel happy in. Please avoid clothing with words or logos, which can be considered dated in the future. Most importantly, you do not have to match… try playing off each other’s outfits at most. If the room where you’ll be displaying your photo has a bold color scheme, wear neutrals or choose a complementary color.
What to bring
Feel free to bring some family artifacts that you would like to capture at this point in your life. Your child’s favorite stuffed animal, a quilt your great grandma had made you, anything that brings your home into the photos. For newborns and babies, I have a collection of hats, headbands, and blankets at the studio, but I love when clients add their own personal touches!

Tantrums happen, so I offer a “meltdown guarantee.” If the tears haven’t stopped after 30 minutes, you can reschedule at no charge.
